THE UNSEEN VALUE OF KINDNESS:

THE UNSEEN VALUE OF KINDNESS:  DON'T LET DISAPPOINTMENT CHANGE WHO YOU ARE In a world that often celebrates the loudest voices and the most prominent achievements, it's easy to overlook the quiet acts of kindness that make a real difference in people's lives. Those with hearts full of compassion and hands that are always willing to help are often the ones who are most taken for granted. Despite their selflessness, they may feel unappreciated, used, or even ignored. Being kind in a world that can be cruel, cold, and selfish is not an easy task. It requires a level of vulnerability, empathy, and understanding that not everyone is willing or able to muster. Those who are kind often put others' needs before their own, sacrificing their time, energy, and resources to make a positive impact in the lives of those around them. However, when they need help themselves, they may find themselves forgotten or overlooked. The very people they have helped may not even noti...

Discipline in Ministry: A Call to Order

Image
The Importance of Discipline in Ministry: A Call to Order As Christian leaders and ministers, we are called to serve God and His people with excellence and integrity. Discipline in ministry is crucial, not just about following rules, but about honoring God, respecting our roles, and maximizing our impact. The Bible emphasizes discipline in our lives. In 1 Corinthians 14:40, we read, "But everything should be done in a fitting and orderly way." This verse highlights the need for order and discipline in worship and ministry. Deviation from assigned roles can lead to disorder, disrespect, and lack of cooperation. When asked to sing, let's sing. When asked to pray, let's pray. When asked to preach, let's preach. Deviation can disrupt the service, confuse the congregation, and undermine leadership authority. As the Bible warns, "Let everything be done for building up" (1 Corinthians 14:26). When we deviate from our roles, we can hinder the buildin...

Allow Jesus to Use Your Boat

Image
Allow Jesus to Use Your Boat Have you ever felt like you're stuck in a rut, unsure of what the future holds or how to navigate the challenges of life? Perhaps you're feeling overwhelmed, like the storms of life are raging around you and you're struggling to stay afloat. If so, you're not alone. In Matthew 4:18-22, we read about the story of Peter and his brother Andrew, who were fishermen. Jesus called out to them, saying, "Follow me, and I will make you fishers of people." Without hesitation, they left their nets and followed him. But what if we took a closer look at another story involving Peter and his boat? In Luke 5:1-11, we read about the time Jesus borrowed Peter's boat to preach to the crowds. Afterward, Jesus told Peter to put out into deep water and cast his nets for a catch. Peter was skeptical, having fished all night without catching anything, but he obeyed Jesus' instructions. The result was astonishing – Peter's nets were...

POSITIVE HABITS :  ESSENTIAL KEY FOR THE ANOINTING  1 Sam16:11  Samuel asked Jesse, ‘Do you have any more sons?’ Jesse answered, ‘I have one more son. He is the youngest. He is caring for the sheep.’ Samuel said, ‘Ask him to come here. We will not sit down to eat until he arrives.’   12  So Jesse asked them to fetch him and Jesse took him to Samuel. This young man was handsome and strong and he had beautiful eyes. The Lord said to Samuel, ‘I have chosen this man. Go and anoint him.’   13  The name of the young man was David. Samuel took the horn that was full of oil. He poured the oil over David to anoint him. Samuel did this in front of David’s brothers. After that, the Spirit of the Lord came on David in a powerful way. Then Samuel returned to Ramah.  Developing positive work habits is essential for anyone who wants to enjoy the anointing   Your contributions to your family and church helps you out.  Doing wh...

STRONGER TOGETHER

Image
The Importance Of Unity By Bible Teacher Kola Kayode  Unity is a top priority for Jesus and for His church, and it should be our top priority as well. The Bible commands us: “ Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bonds of peace” (Eph. 4:3).  One of our primary jobs as Christians and church leaders is to maintain unity and promote peace—whatever it takes!  Individually, we are one drop. Together, we are an ocean. It is a witness to the world. In John 13:34, 35, Jesus said: “By this shall all men know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”  When churches love each other, there is unity and harmony. Strength lies in differences, not in similarities. When spiders unite, they can tie down a lion.  Unity is strength, division is weakness. Even the weak become strong when they are united. Where there is unity there is always victory. We rise by lifting others. We must learn to live together as brothers or perish tog...
