ENDURE HARDSHIP

You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No one engaged in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this life that he may please him who enlisted him as a soldier 2 Timothy 2: 3-4
To endure means to suffer long, persevere. Every good soldier even in the natural is known for his ability to endure hardship. In the making of a soldier, one of the targets of the commander is to train them to endure hardship with the view of the battles ahead. The children of Israel (Gods soldiers) were lead by the way of the wilderness on their way to the promise land (see Exo 13: 17-18). God the commander of the heavenly host attest to the fact that, the reason why He didn’t take them through the other way was to prevent them from getting to the battle unprepared, without the required capacity to withstand their enemies. Any soldier that lacks endurance (can’t endure hardship) will prefer to return to slavery rather than to confront or face any battle for the purpose of possessing her promised land.
Many Christians “has compromised their faith due to their inability to endure hardship (lack of money, marital challenge “fruit of the womb, feature partner” persecution, affliction, chains e.t.c) at the detriment of their eternal rest on knowing to then that we are fighting a spiritual warfare. As a good solder of Jesus Christ lets bear in mind that we must certainly encounter battles, challenges and unless we endure the hardship we won’t sing the victors song.
