DELIVERANCE FROM PERILOUS MEN AND CHARACTERS

Who are these perilous men? 
(2 Timothy 3:2 -9) 
How to know perilous men was reveled to us by Apostle Paul using the various characters they exhibit you might not be absolutely sure that you aren’t one, until you carefully consider the following characters of perilous men. They are; 
Lovers of themselves 
Lover of money 
Proud 
Disobedient to parents 
Unholy 
Unforigiving 
Without self control 
Despisers of good, 
Head strong 
Lovers of pleasure rather than lover of God.
Having a form of godliness but denying its power.
Always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
Of corrupt minds 
Boasters 
Blasphemers 
Unthankful 
Unloving 
Slanderers 
Brutal 
Traitors 
Haughty 
How can believers be free from perilous living? 
The above listed characters describes and reveal perilous men, God’s desire and purpose for believers is for her to live a godly life. Like the disciples that got the name Christ like. One of the reasons why Jesus Christ lived on earth is to reveal and teach us the life style of the kingdom i.e of a true worshiper what God seeks. Among the 21 character of perilous men, you as a child of God might still be exhibiting some of it. This teaching is design to expose and deliver you from them, no matter how difficult it seem. Apostle Paul says ----- And from such people turn away (2 Timothy 3:5). Brethren our companion and environment influence our character. Christ called his disciples out form their divers companions and environment to be with Him not just for a while but a life time. The result of this new companionship environment was newness of life, Christ kind of life (a replica of Christ life), no wonder the world noticed that they have been with Jesus. Brethren none of the above perilous characters is found in Christ our perfect model and lord and savior, unless we truly identify and spend quality time with Him and deliberately and completely disassociate from perilous men (companion) we can’t be free from perilous living let’s make a close evaluation of our quiet time with God, our commitment to the gathering (fellowship) of the saint, our relationship with fellow believes, it is not all about becoming too busy for Christ but our focus and aim should be becoming Christ like. Prayerfully cry to God for deliverance from perilous characters and men and watchfully abstain from companion and environment that suggest, reveal or promote perilous living.
