STUDY TO SHOW THYSELF APPROVED

Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 2 Timothy 2:15
The first church did great exploit and left an eternal impact on earth, Hence gained God’s approval as a result of the vital secret.
“it is not desirable that we should leave the word of God and serve table… but we will give ourselves continually to prayer and to the ministry of the word” Act 6:2&4.
I perceived that the challenge among the early believers was another devils trick to divert their attention from the study of Gods word and prayer that will qualify them for God’s approval. If we are sensitive enough, we will notice several tables or activities that is taking the place of God’s word in our life. To become to busy not to enough time to study God’s word is a scheme from the pit of hell to rob you of Gods approval. Brethren the devil knows that believers will perish. If they lack knowledge of the truth. (see Hos 4:6), he understands that “a man of knowledge increases strength (Prov 24:5) and the kingdom principle that says “ And you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free (John 8:32).
Daniel understood by the books, the number of the years specified by the word of the Lord through Jeremiah the Prophet….. (Dan 9:2) No wonder  he prayed fervently for the freedom of God’s children and got positive result. Every one who gains God’s approval studied or worked hard to show themselves approved unto God. It is not everyone who prayed in the days of Daniel, Nehemiah etc. that got positive result, hence this shows that others didn’t gain God’s approval due to one reason or the other. Many prayers had not gotten God’s approval because those who offer them lack the knowledge of God, pray as one who beats the air. Lots of God’s children are carried away by every wind of doctrine, deceived by fake prophets because they failed to study to show themselves approved unto God. 
“these were more fair – minded than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness, and searched the scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so (Act 17:11) 
Strive about words to no profit, false teachers and prophet will be phased out of the church and will be afraid of ministering before God’s children respectively, if only believers will study God’s word like the Berea Christians.
