HOW TO BE FILLED WITH SPIRITUAL BLESSING (6)
TOPIC: FULL OF FAITH AND POWER
TEXT: MARK 5:29-30, ACTS 6:3-8
KEY VERSE:  And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and miracles among the people. Acts 6:8
INTRODUCTION
Sometimes it is not a whole Bible verse that inspires and encourages you, but part
Of one. Romans 10:17, "So then faith comes..." no matter how weak your falth is
now, no matter how ineffective it is, it will become stronger and more eftective as
you study and meditate on the Word of God-because "faith comes." God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, (and He)went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him." Now if Jesus needed the Holy Spirit and power to heal the sick and free the oppressed, then we certainly do also. Luke 4:1 says of Him, "Then Jesus, being filled with the Holy Spirit, ... was led by the Spirit into the wilderness. And Luke 4:14 says, "Then Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit to Galilee, and news of Him went out through all the surrounding region." He went into the Wilderness "filled with the Holy Spirit" and came out of it forty days later in the "power of the Spirit." Let's trust the Holy Spirit for more insight as we study closely.
BIBLICAL EXAMPLES
1. JOSEPH Gen. 41:38
King Pharoah of Egypt acknowledge the faith and power of God in Joseph, he knew it was beyond human will and intelligence. Gen 41:38 And Pharaoh said unto his servants, Can we find Such a one as this is, a man in whom the Spirit of God is?
Potiphar's wife, Potiphar himself, Joseph's brothers and the entire kingdom of darkness failed simply because Joseph was full of Faith and Power. The pit, prison, slavery, betrayal.. couldn't stop him, instead the dream; "God's promise/Word strengthened his taith and empowered him the more. Joseph was indeed full of faith and the Holy Spirit Power, he did not only interpreted His dreams, the king's Cupbearer and baker's, dreams, King Pharoah's dreams but also understood his trials by the Spirit. (Gen. 45:4,5, 50:20)
2. PETER (Act 2:14-16, 3:4-8, 4: 7-10,13)
Jesus Christ our savior choose Peter alongside with eleven other disciples. From toiling in his fishing profession, Jesus offered to make him a Fisher of men. Peter walked on water, reveal Christ true identify, experience the transtiguration, just to mention a feW, during his seminary training but denied Jesus Christ three times even before a very small girl. This reveals that he is not yet filled with faith and the the Holy Spirit power. This is the same with many believers today who are yet to experience the Holy Spirit baptism. Peter after this experience became full of faith and power, is first message brought three thousand souls to the kingdom,  fearlessly and boldly reply the council, beaten, imprisoned and myteried yet kept the faith. The source of this dimension of faith is the Holy Spirit, Stephen, apostle Paul, other disciples and Jesus Christ our Lord also  operated in this dimension of being full of faith and the Holy Spirnt power. Act 16:23-26 Luke 4:1,14)
DIMENSIONS OF FAITH AND POWER
1. Faithless or no faith and Power; Matt. 17:17, Mark 4:40 
 2. Little Faith and Power Matt 6:30, 8:26, 14:31, 16:8 worry, fear and doubt
3. Great Faith and Power Matt 8:10, 15:28,
4. Mountain moving Faith and Power Matt. 17:20,
5. Full of faith and Power Acts 6:8
DISCUSS: How  to become full of faith and Power from and the following scriptures; ( Romans 10:17, Matt 3:8.9.11, Act 1:4,5&8, Matthew. 9:2, 22. 17:5-6  16:23-26 3:4-8 e.t.c)

IN CONCLUSION
The essential  meaning of being filled with or the state of being full of, the Holy Spirit is to be controlled by the Holy Spirit. So to seek out someone who is full of the Holy Spirit as they did with Stephen is to seek out someone whose words and actions demonstrate he is constantly controlled and motivated by the Holy Spirit. if we continue to devote ourselves to learning His ways, abiding in HIs word, and walking in His Spirit, He will fills us with the Holy Spirit and imparts on us the faith and power needed to do what He wants done.
PRAYER:  Oh Lord baptise me with your Holy Spirit and Power, increase my faith until I become full of faith and Power.
SALVATION: Lord Jesus, I confess and repent of all my sins, I accept your free gift of salvation, from today be my Lord and savior.
