There is Much happiness in life depending on  the choice you make- Pro 12:4
A good choice greatly enhances the life of the husbandbut the wrong choice can destroy a man or woman.
It will be foolishness to think that a mistake in this area can be easily corrected.

SOME GUIDELINES FOR FINDING A GOOD WIFE...
Seek help from God - Pro 19:14 Success in this “venture” may depend more upon God than we think!In view of the seriousness of this matter, dare we go about it alone?
Do not place priority on “good looks” alone - Pro 31:30It is therefore a poor foundation upon which to build a lifelong relationshipSadly, most marriages are built on little more than physical attractionInstead, look for these characteristics in a woman:
A woman who have the fear of the Lord - Pro 31:30 Having a wife who is a devout Christian, then, should be a primary concern. Discretion  Prov 11:22.

ADVICE IN SELECTING A HUSBAND
1. How does he treat family members? This reveals a lot about his character -  Prov 12:10
2. Does he listen to the advice of others? That will tell you whether he is a fool, or a wise person - Prov 12:15
3. What type of company does he keep? You might be destroyed right along with him - Prov 13:20
4. Is he quick-tempered? That determines whether he is a person of understanding - Prov 14:29
5. How does he make money? You will suffer the consequences of his business decisions 
- Prov 15:27
6. Does he have compassion for the poor? If so, his prayers will then be answered - Prov 21:13
MEN TO AVOID...
1. The womanizer. He will destroy himself and hurt all those involved - Prov 6:27-29
2. A drinker - Prov 23:29-30
