Life Lessons from an Arrogant Minister in the Bible

“Arrogance is when you think you’re better than everyone else.”
Korah’s Rebellion Against Moses and Aaron
Korah was one of the select few Levites chosen by God to serve in the Tabernacle, and he was incredibly proud of it. His arrogance led him to believe that he had been given a special status among the people of Israel, which gave him a sense of entitlement—and ultimately led to his downfall. Korah decided to rebel against Moses and Aaron and he gathered 250 prominent men to join him in challenging the authority of Moses. Despite God’s warnings and miracles, Korah refused to relent, causing a huge uproar among the people. In the end, Korah met his fate as an earthquake caused by the Lord swallowed up him and those he led. It’s easy to get caught up in our importance or accomplishments. The story of Korah serves as a reminder that no matter how talented or respected we may be in our own eyes, no one is above submission to God and His appointed leaders.
